DESCRIPTION:Marines\, all veterans\, Associate Members\, Auxiliary Members and Surviving Spouses of the Marine Corps League\, Department of Tennessee:\n\n\nAs the Legislative Officer for the Department of Tennessee\, I provide the following information from Tennessee Veterans (tnvet) website which has ALL THE DETAILS PLUS REGISTRATION for this upcoming event. The following link will take you to everything you need to know and the sign-up form: https://tnvet.org/veteran-day-on-the-hill/information-on-attending/  ) (The signup portal will close Jan 24th at the latest.  Signups are going well and it may close any day before then\, if we reach our 150-max capacity.)\nREGISTRATION is a simple online form that you must submit to be included in the group that gets a FREE LUNCH! You will identify your State Representative and State Senator and their office number—there is a link in the online application. \nTNVET is non-partisan 501(c)(19) organization working to pass Tennessee State Legislation that will benefit veterans and their survivors. Full details can be found on the website. \n\n\nVDOH = Veterans Day on the Hill DEFINITIONS \nVETERANS \nALL United States military veteran organizations\, individual veterans\, surviving spouses\, as well as associate and auxiliary members of veteran organizations; wearing appropriate service connected clothing\, caps\, etc. NO FIREARMS! \nDAY  \nWednesday 31 January beginning around 0900 to 1600 or so. Last year\, 2023\, did not happen because of serious weather threats. The first VDOH was in February 2016. \nON THE HILL \nCordell Hull State Office Building\, 425 Rep.
