DESCRIPTION:Employer of Veterans Award. \nDepartment of Tennessee may submit a total of three nominations for this category for National consideration. One nomination for a small company with 50 or fewer employees; one nomination for a medium sized company with work forces of 51 to 200 and one nomination for a large company with 201 or more employees.  \nRecognize your local Veteran Employers by sending in an award application by January 7\, 2023. \nThe Department annually presents awards at the Department Convention to honor employers who hire veterans\, disabled veterans\, and older workers. We also recognize those who help veterans find employment. The awards include: \n·   Employer of the Year – Small\, Mid-Size\, and Large \n·   Employer of the Disabled Award \n·   Employer of Older Workers Award \n·   Local Veterans Employment Representative of the Year \n·   Outstanding Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist of the Year \n·   Outstanding Employment Service Office of the Year \nNomination forms for each award are available through the Department website:  http://www.tennesseelegion.org/index.php?id=126. Please include no more than two typed narrative pages as well the official nomination form.
