Welcome
American Legion Tyler Cates Post 281 was chartered on August 10, 2010 and incorporated on November 3, 2010 with 47 veteran members of the great little town of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. We have grown to the strength of 250+ members and continue to welcome veterans from Mt. Juliet, across Wilson County, and all of the surrounding counties.
We do not have a “brick and mortar” building of our own, yet. Currently, we are meeting in the Mt. Juliet Community Center, Room B at 1075 Charlie Daniels Parkway, Mount Juliet, TN, the second Tuesday of each month. We have a time of food and fellowship starting at 5:30 pm followed by our regular post-meeting starting at 6:00 pm. If you would like more information about our post, contact Commander, Terry Ward, or our Adjutant, Bruno Padovani, by simply clicking the “Contact Us” link on the top right of this web page. We hope you will come and join us.
The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nations largest veterans service organization, committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in our communities, promoting patriotism and honor, advocating for strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.
