Training Tuesday on March 26th

American Legion members are invited to a detailed briefing on Medicare Advantage Plans for the Training Tuesday on March 26 at 7 p.m. The session will discuss the advantages of enrolling in these plans alongside existing VA healthcare benefits, covering key aspects such as eligibility, The American Legion partnership with WellCare, and an overview of Medicare Parts A, B, C and D. Special emphasis will be on coordinating healthcare benefits for veterans, maximizing advantages and understanding enrollment periods.

3yr Membership?

The MyLegion portal is open for members to renew for a 3 year period if desired. If it is done before July 1st, it will be at the current rate of $45.00. After July 1st 2024, when the Legion 2025 begins, the National Legion membership will increase.

Currently it can only be done online by the member. Adjutants can not process a 3 year renewal.

Posts will get their share once a year like PUFLs are currently done. If a member dies during that 3 year period, national will keep the entire amount and neither the dept nor the post will receive their share.
